Fluorescent light bulbs and tubes contain mercury and are Household Hazardous Waste (HHW). HHW MUST NOT be placed in your Garbage Bin, composting or recycling bags. Please take this item to one of the City’s Drop-Off Depots or call them for information.

Consider donating items in good and working order to not-for-profit agencies. Alternatively, this item should be placed in the Garbage Bin.

Flatten box and separate it to be recycled. Any plastic/foil liners or windows must be removed and placed in the Garbage Bin.

Place this item in the separated for recycling. Paper with excessive paint or glue should go in the Garbage Bin.
Blu-ray player
Set out electronic equipment at curbside. Place these items for pick up 0.5 meter (2 feet) away from the Garbage Bin. Large items can be put on the ground. Small items should be put in an open cardboard box or clear plastic bag. Consider donating items in good and working order to not-for-profit agencies.
